A COUPLE have revealed that they bought a 1960s bungalow and have given it a total transformation.
Now, people have claimed that the once dated one-storey home has now gone from ‘weird to architectural gem.'

Posting online, the mother and DIY enthusiast, who is from Bath, UK, gave a before and after look at her home.
She explained that the 1960s house had 90s decor, and so the family spent 10 months renovating the property.
Now, the two-storey home is perfect for their family, and many have been left open-mouthed at its beauty.
Posting on social media, the woman, who lives a Nordic lifestyle, shared: “We bought a 60’s bungalow and renovated it from top to bottom!”

She then added: “It had a weird layout and tired decor.”
Prior to its overhaul, the home was very dark and dated, with brown cupboards, green carpets and old-fashioned curtains.
However, the proud homeowner then gave social media users a close-up look at the home after its renovation, as she added: “And this is how it looks now!
"I’m no bungalow expert but supposedly bungalows have all the living spaces in one level.

"Anyway we added a floor so it’s a house these days."
From the outside, what was once very dated and dirty, had been given a fresh new look and was totally unrecognisable.
Not only is the home now incredibly modern, with a black panelled appearance, but it’s also something you’d expect to see in a posh interior magazine too.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @shnordic, has clearly left many totally stunned, as it has amassed a staggering 26,700 likes.
Social media users were impressed at the home’s new look and many were eager to express this in the comments.
One person said: “Amazing transformation.”
Another added: “The outside went from weird to architectural gem.”
To this, the DIY whizz replied: “Thank you so much! I did always love the shape of the house but it definitely looks better with new windows and black cladding.”

Whilst another user wrote: “That house is so stunning, so wonderful that you saw the potential.”
In response, the woman explained: “Thank you so much, it was a little tired but had a lot going on for it.”
