Ant and Dec to rake in millions with secret book about their 30-year career in TV The Sun
ANT and Dec are at the centre of a multimillion pound bidding war over a book to celebrate their 30 years in showbiz.
A dozen publishers are vying for the Geordie duo’s signatures for what is being described by literary insiders as “the biggest celebrity book of the year”.

A deal is yet to be signed but it’s thought it would be released in September to coincide with the 44-year-olds’ first joint appearance in kids TV show Byker Grove in 1990.
The book, which would not be an autobiography, will tell previously unheard anecdotes from their rise to fame.
A source said: “The idea of a book to mark 30 years has been talked about by Ant and Dec and their team for a while.
“But as soon as word got out to the industry publishers were chomping at the bit.

“As it stands 12 publishing houses are bidding for it and it will sell for a massive figure.
“It’ll easily be the celebrity book of the year as Ant and Dec are national treasures.
“They both starred in Byker Grove together for the first time in 1990, around September time, so the thinking is to release it to coincide with that if they can get it together in time.”
The book would be the duo’s second book after they released a joint autobiography in 2010 called Ooh! What a Lovely Pair: Our Story.
