ENGLAND'S World Cup replica shorts will set fans back £55.

Supporters must shell out £144.94 for the full Nike Vapor home kit.

Parents are already furious that kids' kits cost £86 - without socks.

But they themselves have been left shocked and appalled at what the FA is charging for them to show their support.

England's official Twitter account today announced the prices for their new home kit.

Memes about being poor and stunned by the cost quickly followed.

One tweeted: "£65 for an international ( England ) football top. And about £45 for shorts and socks on top of that.

"How much pressure does that put on parents to buy an expensive kit for kids along with the price hike of everything else ?"

Another wrote: "England shirts £90 and shorts £55. Hahahaha who the f*** would pay that. Lacoste polo is about 75 quid."

Nike say of its Vapor material: "Nike Vapor England Match Home Men's Football Shorts are engineered with the next generation of Nike VaporKnit technology to provide a lightweight, breathable solution finished with team pride.

Nike Breathe shorts, on the other hand, cost £29.95 and the shirt comes to £64.95.

England kits were priced at £144.90 ahead of Euro 2016 - with shorts 5p cheaper.

The FA signed a £400m England kit deal with Nike in December 2013.

The Three Lions will continue wearing strips designed by the American sportswear giants until 2030.

FA chief Martin Glenn said at the time: "This is another hugely significant deal for the FA and closely follows the landmark Emirates FA Cup broadcast rights announcement last October.

"As a not-for-profit organisation, this new deal with Nike will allow the FA to invest even more into the game and make football available for all.

"I’d like to thank Nike for their continued support of the England teams and English football."
